Ortiz Jr vs. McKinson: Blair Cobbs Workout Quotes

Fan favorite Blair “The Flair” Cobbs (15-0-1, 10 KOs) of Philadelphia held a media workout at the world famous Wildcard Boxing Club today ahead of his fight against teammate Alexis Rocha ( 18-1 (12 KOs) on March 19. Their 10-round welterweight bout will be Vergil Ortiz, Jr.’s co-main event against Michael McKinson at the University of Southern California’s Galen Center in downtown Los Angeles and will air live, worldwide, on DAZN.

Here’s what the fighter had to say about his upcoming fight:

“I can’t wait for this fight. I love every opportunity to get out there and show the world what Blair ‘The Flair’ is all about. Every moment, every day, I get better and better. Every day I perfect my craft, inside and outside the ring and people are going to see it on March 19th.

“Once again, I have to fight against all odds. There are a lot of people who think Alexis Rocha could win. Let’s see what happens when he fights “The Great One”. I expect him to train very hard, but Blair ‘The Flair’ trains smart. It doesn’t matter what he does. In this ring, he’s going to try everything and he won’t be able to do anything because I’m much, much better.

“It’s a big possibility that this fight won’t go the distance. If he comes up to me and gets in my face, I’ll shut him up.

“We’re going to step into the ring with energy and do our best, which is always the most exciting, the biggest flair, the biggest attraction in boxing. Fans will need to tune in as the main event is the co-main event on March 19.
