Eubank v Williams press conference
Chris Eubank Jr.
I didn’t spend a year and a half on a farm with chickens and snakes and raccoons training for nothing. We’re about to clean up the middleweight division, and Liam Williams is the next man ahead of me.

I will take it out. All that matters is what’s going to happen in the night, and that’s me standing over him, looking down and raising my fists as he’s counted out. It’s gonna be a hell of a fight.
Liam Williams
It’s an amazing opportunity to fight here in Cardiff in a top fight against Chris. I’m so excited to put an end to this guy, bring him down a few levels. You will realize its level after this fight.
He’s strong mentally, he shoots well, but his legs are very robotic. He moves as if he had wooden legs. I just think my skills are much better. We will find out on Saturday.
I believe I believe I have the power to stop him and knock him out. Whether I do it or not, I don’t know because it’s going to be one of the best fights, it’s going to be very intense, but I hope to knock him out.
Roy Jones Jr.Coach, Chris Eubank Jr.
There is a difference between good fighters and great fighters. When you can change those gears and take it to the next level, that makes you a great fighter, and that’s what I saw in Chris Eubank Jr.

We are now days away from what has to be one of the biggest British grudge matches we have seen in a long time. It’s all on the line for both fighters.
We know that Chris has his world title ambitions very, very firmly in his head. But he has to go through Liam Williams, and this fight is everything for him – imagine a fighter coming to his hometown in front of those Cardiff fans. Everyone anticipates this fight. No one can call him. I can not wait.
Kalle Sauerland, Wasserman Boxing, promoter of Chris Eubank Jr
It kicks off what is a fantastic February for British boxing. This fight takes us to the next level, this level of the Golovkins, this level of the World Championships.
It’s not looking past Liam; I think he will bring a very tough fight on Saturday night. Chris is not afraid of the Dragon’s Lair, and I think we are going to see a performance in the stands. I think it’s going to be a treat for the fans.
Dmitry Salitapromoter, Claressa Shields
It is a great honor to work with Sky Sports, BOXXER and Ben Shalom. It was a great experience, and the reception from fans and media has been so much love and support for Claressa. We have a stern test ahead of us on Saturday night, but I know Claressa will pull through and put in an explosive performance.
Shields of Claressa
I want to thank God. First of all, I want to thank everyone here: my promoter Dimitri Salita, my manager Mark Taffett, my coaches. It was a perfect camp, and I’m delighted to be here for several reasons.
And I’ll break it down to you quickly: one beat Ema Kozin, then beat your [UK] favorite Savannah Marshall and go home. That’s why I’m here. February 5 is therefore the beginning.
