Dylan Ferrandis | 4th in 450SX
“Of course, it was better than the last two weeks. It’s cool to fight up front and be back in the fight. The track was quite gnarly tonight. We got off to a good start in the elimination race and better than usual in the main race, so it was a good step in the right direction. Again, it was good to be back in the top five with the guys fighting for a podium spot, and it’s better than the past few weeks.
Jeremy Coker, Monster Energy/Star Yamaha Racing Yamaha 450 Team Manager, said:
“Dylan rode a phenomenal main event, it’s just a shame he couldn’t get that podium, but it was a good race and a step in the right direction.”
Justin Barcia | 5th in 450SX
“I felt good on the track, I had a good rhythm and I had a very good feeling on the bike today, the team did a great job during the week to give me what I needed. needed, so I’m super happy!” Overall we were fighting hard – we were all very close from first to fifth – so it was a really good race. About halfway through the race I got very tight and was only able to bring him back to fifth. I was definitely looking for a bit more, but we’ll take it. We are healthy and back to work, but looking forward to next week.”
Marvin Musquin | 6th in 450SX
“The feeling was good on the bike today, so thanks to the team for that! I qualified third so it was amazing, but the qualifying race wasn’t that great. I really wanted to put it all together and make a cohesive Main Event. I passed Roczen at one point and tried to chase Ferrandis and Barcia – wasn’t too far behind them, but couldn’t manage. My speed was decent, the same as the top guys up front, so I’m going to keep working hard and trying to be better every weekend.
