October 18, 2021: General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA) ATC Aviation Service adopts a new online booking solution called CargoBooking, which automates processes and provides instant quotes.

The online solution, powered by Avery Aviation Software, enables ATC customers to book Air Waybills (AWBs) and benefit from end-to-end tracking and traceability.

CargoBooking converts inbound email quote requests into instant quotes and its quote management system provides published rates, contract rates and allowances, as well as SPOT or promotional rates.

“With the new electronic reservation tool, we are improving the digital interface with our customers, which is available 24/7,” said Ingo Zimmer, CEO of ATC.

“Personal contact through our sales staff will continue to be maintained and focused on individual needs.

“The electronic reservation platform is the next big step in continuing our digital growth alongside other IT tools supporting our operational efficiency. “

CargoBooking can connect to any airline, integrating with operating and accounting systems using an application programming interface (API), or customers can book with their own number AWB.

Confirmed bookings are automatically entered into the airline’s software, avoiding the need for double entry and reducing booking times to seconds rather than minutes.

“As one of the largest GSSA groups in the world, ATC handles vast volumes of inquiries, data and reservations across numerous partner airline networks,” said Vitaliy Smilianets, Founder and CEO of Awery Aviation Software.

“Awery was chosen to help ATC ensure that these functions can all be managed as efficiently as possible, both for customers and internal stakeholders.

“Having ATC as a launch partner has been a huge success and we are already seeing the benefits for them and their customers materialize. “

ATC uses CargoBooking in Germany, where it is headquartered, starting with a major airline customer, and will roll out the platform to its global network of 34 countries over the coming weeks.

“We are constantly working to make the booking experience even smoother for our users,” said Paul Breburda, ATC vice president of business.

“Eighty percent of our clients are happy to handle simple inquiries themselves.

“The channel is already used in test markets and has been well received. “

Awery will continue to develop additional system enhancements for ATC as the software is deployed on the ATC network.
