96 Second Supercut’s Jim Irsay’s Craziest Quotes From Jeff Saturday’s Intro Press Conference Is The Best NFL Video Of The Season

I know this press conference was over 36 hours ago, but honestly, I can’t get enough of it. You can give me the best NFL highlights of the season with Chris Berman WHOOPING like his 1998 all the time. But no NFL content will top that 96 seconds of glorious mayhem.

Jim Irsay’s press conference was so crazy you almost forget he hired a former player who had a 20-16 career coaching a high school football team to become the head coach. of his NFL football team midway through the season. Granted, that’s probably exactly what someone whose franchise was in the top quartiles of the NFL’s top quartile this century because he drafted two franchise QBs with the number 1 pick wanted to do, so you don’t realize not that he’s doing everything in his power to lock in the No. 1 pick this year (that Week 1 tie against the Texans means whoever wins the next game means he could be out of the No. 1 draft).

We’ve all seen most of these quotes on Twitter and John Rich perfectly blogged all the chaos like Abe Froman making sausages or Elon landing on Mars. But when you watch everything in the video there are so many amazing phrases that don’t make sense when talking about an NFL football team you almost think it’s one of those NFL Bad videos Lip Reading, scream the orange peanut Adrian Peterson had years ago.

I think the fact that the Colts called the press conference when there was a Monday night football game going on kind of took the focus away, which is such a shame because it was really the some of the best content I’ve seen in 2022. I would have actually bought ESPN+ if they had had a Manningcast stream where Peyton and Eli gave their unfiltered thoughts from the press conference during the game’s commercial breaks , though Eli probably would’ve just done the thing where he stares open-mouthed while Peyton would’ve only given politician-level shots considering he’s spent over a decade of his life getting so intimate with Jeff Saturday than a man can be.

Ultimately, this video shows how much we need more Jim Irsay in our lives. I don’t want to hear about him every time he changes coaches, quarterbacks, or whoever I imagine will soon be GM (I have Mike Vanderjagt taking on that role). Every time a microphone is placed in front of Jim Irsay, whether at training camp or the Super Bowl, it needs to be pushed over every form of media Roger Goodell uses to shove the NFL down our throats.

Hell if NBC had a brain they would hire Irsay to replace Jason Garrett this second since I would give anything to get irsayisms about all the chaos that just unfolded on an NFL Sunday instead of the worst coordinator offense I’ve ever seen in my life, criticizing coaches and players who are much better than him.
