The Free Gaza movement is sending another solidarity ship to the Strip, due this time to the major Israeli attacks. The four previous voyages have set sail in solidarity to the million and a half residents under siege.

On board the ship expected to set sail on Monday are four physicians. Among them is Dr. Elena Theoharous, a surgeon and member of Cypriot parliament. Former United States Congresswoman and Green Party candidate Cynthia McKinney will also be making the voyage. And local hero, Al Jazeera correspondent formerly imprisoned in Guantanamo, Sami Al Hajj, is also expected.

Then:

A group of international activists said it would defy an Israeli blockade and send a boat with medical supplies to Gaza from Cyprus.

Free Gaza Group spokeswoman Caoimhe Butterly said their 20-meter yacht Dignity would leave Larnaca port around 5 p.m. (1400GMT) Monday with 3.5 tons of donated supplies.

She said the yacht would carry 16 passengers, including former US Congresswoman Cynthia Mckinney, Cypriot lawmaker and doctor Eleni Theocharous and activists from Britain, Australia, Ireland and Tunisia.

And then:

A boat that was carrying international peace activists and medical supplies to Gaza sailed into a Lebanese port on Tuesday after being turned back by the Israeli navy, organizers of the trip said.

The boat, which set off from Cyprus Monday wanted to make a statement and deliver medical supplies to Gaza. The trip’s organizers said the boat was clearly in international waters, 90 miles off the coast of Gaza, at the time of its close encounter with the Israeli navy.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said the boat ignored an Israeli radio order to turn back early Tuesday.

Palmor says the boat tried to outmaneuver an Israeli navy ship and crashed into it, which lightly damaged both vessels. The navy then escorted the boat out into the territorial waters of Cyprus.

The 66-foot yacht Dignity, flying the flag of Gibraltar, left Larnaca Monday with almost 4 tons of Cypriot-donated supplies and 16 passengers, including former US Representative Cynthia McKinney, Cypriot lawmaker Eleni Theocharous and activists from Britain, Australia, Ireland and Tunisia, organizers said.

Hamas ended the cease-fire and rained rockets down on Israel, accompanied by mortars and the occasional attempt at a cross-border ground attack.

Israel did nothing. The rest of the planet yawned.

Hamas tells Israel that it is weak, confused, and helpless. And so more people are recruited, West Bank Palestinians look on with admiration at those fighting the enemy, and the Arabic-speaking world is impressed.

But then Israel does fight back. Its planes bomb military targets which have been deliberately put amid civilians. If there is a high danger of hitting civilians, Israel doesn’t attack. But there is a line below which risk that will be taken, and rightly so.

And now the planet begins to take notice? Casualty figures are announced by Hamas, and accepted by reporters who are not on the spot. Everyone hit is, of course, a civilian. Hamas has no soldiers, right?

Arab-sympathetic, or Israel-hating, photographers take pictures of children who pretend to be injured, and once they are published in Western newspapers these claims become fact.

Hamas is the aggressor. Hamas intentionally targets civilians. Hamas purposely hides its weapons within civilian residential areas. Yet Cynthia McKinney is willing to enter this volatile area to offer aid to Hamas, not Israel?

McKinney has long hated all things Israel while admiring all things Arab. I can only hope that she accidentally walks in front of an IDF tank while it’s screaming across Gaza.

McKinney is one person for which I will shed no tear when she no longer breathes.

So who is this Hatem El-Hady? El-Hady is the former chairman of the Toledo-based Islamic charity “Kind Hearts for Charitable Human Development”. This “charity” was actually a front for funneling funds to Hamas and other Middle East terrorists groups, their US assets having been frozen by the US Treasury for terrorist ties.

So what we have is the leader of a fake charity, one whose real purpose was to sneak away US dollars to support Hamas, a US-designated terrorist organization, and is also a favorite fundraiser for the Obama campaign, and a friend of Michelle Obama.

When Illinois State Senator Alice Palmer decided to retire in 1995, she hand-picked local left-winger Barack Obama as her successor. In order to introduce Obama to influential liberals in the district, she held a function at the home of Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. This was, really, the beginning of Obama’s political career, and it linked him forever with Ayers and Dohrn, with whom, as his campaign has acknowledged, he continues to have a friendly relationship.

Ayers and Dohrn were famous radicals, and fugitives from the law, in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Dohrn, actually, was the more famous of the two; she was the head, as I recall, of Students for a Democratic Society or one of its factions. Dohrn was crazy. She is the only public figure, to my knowledge, to approve publicly and enthusiastically of the Charles Manson murders.

Ayers was a would-be murderer of soldiers and policemen, but he wasn’t a very good terrorist. He had the ill fortune to be the subject of a profile in the New York Times on September 11, 2001, in which he said that he didn’t regret his attempted murders and only wished that he had planted more bombs.

Domestic terrorist Bill Ayers hosted Barack Obama’s first fundraiser.

SUMMARY: Maybe a politician can’t pick his relatives, but he can choose those who host fundraisers on his behalf and those he surrounds himself with. Barack Obama owes the American people an explanation of his choice of friends and political associates.

During the week of October 22-26, 2007, the nation will be rocked by the biggest conservative campus protest ever – Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, a wake-up call for Americans on 200 university and college campuses.

The purpose of this protest is as simple as it is crucial: to confront the two Big Lies of the political left: that George Bush created the war on terror and that Global Warming is a greater danger to Americans than the terrorist threat. Nothing could be more politically incorrect than to point this out. But nothing could be more important for American students to hear.

In the face of the greatest danger Americans have ever confronted, the academic left has mobilized to create sympathy for the enemy and to fight anyone who rallies Americans to defend themselves. According to the academic left, anyone who links Islamic radicalism to the war on terror is an “Islamophobe.” According to the academic left, the Islamo-fascists hate us not because we are tolerant and free, but because we are “oppressors.”

Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week is a national effort to oppose these lies and to rally American students to defend their country.

The LONG TERM goal of jihad is world domination – a global Islamic state under Islamic law. Jihad is not, as some Western apologists claim, simply a striving for individual perfection. Rather, jihad is an expansionist totalitarian ideology that seeks to establish a global Islamic state ruled by Islamic law, or sharia. Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden’s chief henchman said in the summer of 2006: “Jihad seeks the liberation of Palestine, the entire country of Palestine and to liberate every land that used to be a territory of Islam, from Spain to Iraq.”

The jihad’s IMMEDIATE Objective is “Death to America.” “America,” declared Al-Qaeda spokesman Suleiman Abu Gheith, “is the head of heresy in our modern world, and [as a result] . . . we have the right to kill 4 million Americans — 2 million of them children — and to exile twice as many and wound and cripple hundreds of thousands. Furthermore, it is our right to fight them with chemical and biological weapons.” The Saudi Sheikh Nasser ibn Hamed gives an even higher figure for appropriate American deaths: “If a bomb was dropped on them [i.e. the Americans] that would annihilate 10 million and burn their lands to the same extent that they burned the Muslim lands – this is permissible….”

The ideology of the Islamists whose ranks today include not only al-Qaeda but also Hamas and Hezbollah – originated with Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood (al-Ikhwan al-Muslimoon) founded in 1928 by Sheikh Hassan al-Banna. And the Muslim Brotherhood finds not just its roots, but much of its symbolism, terminology, and political priorities deep within the heart of Nazi fascism.

The long legacy of Arab and Palestinian Nazism, and the Hitlerite themes of lebensraum, ethnic cleansing and genocide, continue to echo in the Middle East today. Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, said of the Jews after the Lebanon war of 2006: “If they gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them nationwide.” Mahmoud Zahar, Hamas Foreign Minister, says: “I dream of hanging a huge map of the world on the wall at my Gaza home which does not show Israel on it.” And most chillingly, Ali Akabar Hashemi Rafsanjani, former President of Iran, looks ahead to the next holocaust and final solution: “The use of a nuclear bomb in Israel will leave nothing on the ground, whereas it will only damage the world of Islam.”

Osama Bin Laden tunes in to the radio to hear American news broadcasts of the event. “They were overjoyed when the first plane hit the building,” he said on a video later obtained by American forces, talking about others listening with him that day. “So I said to them: Be patient.” He said, “At the end of the newscast, they reported that a plane just hit the World Trade Center.” “Allah be praised,” replied one of the other men in the videotape.

Witnesses reported seeing people jumping from the towers just before they collapsed.

1800 EDT – Iraq announces the attacks are the fruit of “U.S. crimes against humanity” in an official announcement on state television.

2030 EDT – President Bush addresses the nation, saying “thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil” and asks for prayers for the families and friends of Tuesday’s victims. “These acts shattered steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve,” he says. The president says the U.S. government will make no distinction between the terrorists who committed the acts and those who harbor them.

A beleaguered Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared a state of emergency and disbanded the Hamas-led unity government after the Islamic militant group vanquished its Fatah rivals and effectively took control of the Gaza Strip on Thursday.

In Gaza, it was a day of major victories for Hamas and its backers in Iran and Syria — and of devastating setbacks for the Western-backed Fatah. In one particularly humiliating scene, masked Hamas fighters marched agents of the once-feared Preventive Security Service out of their headquarters, arms raised in the air, stripped to the waist and ducking at the sound of a gunshot.

“The era of justice and Islamic rule has arrived,” Hamas spokesman Islam Shahawan said.

Fatah officials, speaking on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution, said Hamas shot dead seven Fatah fighters after they had surrendered. A doctor at Shifa Hospital said he examined two bodies that had been shot in the head at close range.

A witness named Amjad who lives in a high-rise building that overlooks the Preventive Security complex said men were killed in front of their wives and children.

“They are executing them one by one,” Amjad said in a telephone interview, declining to give his full name for fear of reprisals. “They are carrying one of them on their shoulders, putting him on a sand dune, turning him around and shooting.”

Ah yes. That oft-repeated Islamic “justice” thing again. Like throwing people off rooftops, stringing them up from bridges, shooting them in front of their children, etc., not to mention blowing up trains, planes and automobiles wherever unarmed infidels converge. No barbarism there, huh?

When Israel gave up the Gaza Strip, forcing some 8 or 9 thousand Jewish population out of their homes and communities, and removing Israeli soldiers, The New York Times editorially saw this as the dawn of peace. Of course, it was the opposite. It meant that the cancerous Global Jihad had attained a beachhead on the Mediterranean Sea, to establish an Islamofascist terrorist entity there for the furtherance of the khilafa agenda.

Let’s go ahead and say it: (1) Islam is incompatible with freedom and democracy, and (2) an Islamist-dominated population is incapable of living in peace without some type of dictator in place. Barbarians stuck in the 7th century.

To all those Gaza residents that wanted Israel to pull out so that they could be free of ‘Jewish oppression’ – how do you like things so far?

Oh, by the way Pelosi and Reid, this is a preview of what will happen to Iraq when you pull the US military out.

Fatah, a secular political grouping headed by Mr Abbas, ran the Palestinian Authority until 2006 and officially recognizes Israel.

Hamas, an Islamic organization, rose to prominence in Gaza during two Palestinian uprisings and refuses to recognize or negotiate with Israel.

In interviews, Hamas co-founder Mahmoud al-Zahar has described the creation of “Hamastan” as a goal of Hamas. “When asked by a Newsweek reporter (August 30, 2005) whether the Gaza Strip would become “Hamastan”, Mahmoud al-Zahar responded: ‘It should be Hamastan’.”

The human rights groups, which would scream for a week if Israel paraded Palestinians around in their undies, have yet to even notice the war crimes/crimes against humanity perpetrated by Hamas. They took one guy, and literally blew his head off – and yet there are diplomats who think Hamas can be moderated or that there is common ground for negotiations. Where is the outrage, New York Times?

Thus ends the “Middle East peace process” that was never much of a process and never much about peace. Hamas won’t negotiate; they want Israel erased from the map.

This gives Iran three de facto borders now with Israel:

• Syria (owned and operated by Iran)
• Lebanon (owned and operated by Syria, which is owned and operated by Iran)
• Hamastan (formerly known as Gaza, which is now owned and operated by Iran)

Do you get the feeling that this is phase 1 of the upcoming Syrian offensive maneuvers against Israel this summer … the ones they already bragged about?

“This is an open war launched against Hamas. All options are open, including martyrdom operations,” Abu Ubaida, a spokesman for the organisation’s armed wing, said.

What has evil Israel done to provoke such a defensive response from Hamas?

Israeli planes launched air strikes against the militant Palestinian group in Gaza.

The three aerial attacks destroyed a Hamas compound, hit a car carrying two senior commanders and a trailer used by the Islamist group, killing three people and wounding scores of others.

Israel confirmed all three air strikes.

See, just as the UN, most of Europe, most of the world media and news organizations, and practically every Arab in the world have been telling us for years, Hamas is only acting in self-defense.

Except that the UN, most of Europe, most of the world media and news organizations, and practically every Arab in the world always seem to leave out a small detail of what’s really been going on over there. You see, the reason Israel launched air strikes against the militant Palestinian group in Gaza was:

A high school in the Negev was directly hit by a Qassam rocket Thursday. Two people were lightly wounded in the attack, and several others suffered from shock.

Earlier Thursday, three Qassam rockets landed in Sderot. Another two rockets landed in open fields in the western Negev.

And those don’t even count the more than 50 rockets that have fallen on the Israeli town of Sderot in the last three days. All of the rockets came from Palestinian-controlled in Gaza, and all were fired by Palestinian terrorists.

“We have had enough. Israel will take all defensive measures to protect our citizens from these Hamas rockets,” Miri Eisin, a spokeswoman for the Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert, said before the air strike.

An official statement released Wednesday following a security meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office said that “Israel will operate against Hamas’ Qassam launchers, their commanders and the terror perpetrators.”

Sderot is a city in the Southern District of Israel. Sderot lies a kilometer from the Gaza Strip. Since the beginning of the al-Aqsa Intifada in October 2000, the city has been frequently attacked by Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants using homemade rockets known as “Qassam rockets”. Although they are very inaccurate, these attacks have resulted in a number of deaths and injuries as well as causing psychological distress among the residents. Hundreds of Qassam rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip since Israel removed all permanent Israeli presence in the Gaza Strip and from four settlements in the northern West Bank in September 2005.

That’s right: As an overture to peace Israel volunteered to remove all permanent Israeli presence in the Gaza Strip and from four settlements in the northern West Bank back in 2005. Hamas is showing their overture to peace by filling Gaza with crude rockets and bombarding Israeli civilian areas … including schools. And yet Hamas has the gall to call the Israeli defensive response to this bombardment “an open war launched against Hamas”?

And to make this painfully clear to those of you that were educated in America’s government schools, Israel’s defensive response was aimed as the rockets, the rocket launchers, and militant leaders. Hamas’ offensive response was aimed at innocent civilian areas. There is stark contrast in this conflict, and if you cannot see it for yourself then either you aren’t very bright or you’re just as anti-Israel as the Palestinians.

• On July 7, 2006, two Qassam rockets fired from Gaza hit the city. One of the Qassams fell in the city’s central market, wounding seven civilians. Three people were hit by shrapnel from the rocket, while four were in shock. The second rocket landed in an empty soccer field. Three of the wounded were evacuated to Barzilai Hospital.
• On November 15, 2006, Islamic Jihad and militants associated with Hamas fired fifteen Qassam rockets from Gaza into the Western Negev, eleven of which landed in Sderot, killing a 57-year old woman, Faina Sloutsker, and seriously wounding several people, among whom were a high school student.
• Recent research has found that one out of every three Sderot children suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Qassam rockets are fired into Israel from Gaza by Palestinian militants on almost a daily basis. If 89 rockets fell on your town in one month alone, and if around 300 rockets fell in your town since 2005, and if most of these rockets hit civilian population centers like schools, what would you expect your government to do? What would you expect your media to say?

Even after all this action by Hamas and the Palestinians the world media still claim a ceasefire is working.

Reuters says “Hamas’s armed wing broke a five-month ceasefire on Tuesday by firing rockets into Israel from the Gaza Strip after Israeli forces killed nine Palestinians over the weekend.”

Broke a five-month ceasefire? What about the earlier Islamic Jihad terrorist captured near Tel Aviv after his bomb belt fails to detonate? That doesn’t count?

The barrages of Kassam rockets and mortar shells Hamas fired at Israel on Tuesday morning were meant to provide cover for and distract attention from an attempted infiltration by a terror cell, whose members intended to kidnap IDF soldiers deployed along the Gaza border, IDF sources reported Tuesday afternoon.

Over at the AP they say “Hamas militants called Sunday for a fresh wave of attacks against Israel after troops killed nine Palestinians in weekend fighting, straining a five-month-old cease-fire.”

What about the Egyptian arrest of a would-be Hamas suicide bomber near the Israeli border? The relentless pro-Palestinian bias of the AP is very obvious in this one. Notice that the first sentence blames the “strained cease-fire” on Israel. It’s doubly deceptive because (1) it doesn’t mention the previous rocket attacks by Hamas, and (2) there is no “cease-fire” because the rockets have never stopped coming from Gaza during any time of the ceasefire.

The BBC continues the lie with “The armed wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement has said it is ending its five-month truce with Israel. Earlier in the day the group launched a sustained barrage of rockets and mortars into Israel, the first such attack since November. ”

Ended its five-month truce with Israel? What about the Palestinian rockets that hit a Sderot home? What about the Israeli civilian that was wounded in a West Bank drive-by shooting? Do those signify an adherence to any ceasefire?

Over the past few years the media has consistently downplayed or ignored Palestinian violence, once giving militant Islam a free pass, while apportioning blame on Israeli retaliatory or preventative actions as the cause of “escalating violence” or “breaking of ceasefires”. It appears, yet again, necessary to showcase this inaccurate and misleading representation of the conflict.

At what point do Palestinian terror and missile attacks constitute a breach of a “ceasefire”? Does Hamas have to kill 100 Israels before the ceasefire is considered broken? Or 1,000? If a single Palestinian is killed by Israeli forces the world media and the UN would certainly consider the ceasefire broken.

Remember this well: Neither Hamas nor the Palestinians want any sort of peace; they simply and singularly want the complete elimination of Israel and nothing less.

The appeasers around the globe keep insisting that Islam is not the aggressor, it’s just a few radials posing a threat to the civilized world, even though Islam itself has been blatantly telling us for centuries that Muslims have the right and the duty to enslave and murder us for no reason other than we exist. What other faith makes such a claim? And yet so many of us fall all over ourselves excusing and apologizing for any terrible action done by a Muslim.

We support victory in the war against radical Islamists. We supported the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, and we believe victory is necessary in both countries for America’s self-defense.

We believe that the radical regime in Iran, while not representative of the Iranian people, is a menace and that it cannot be allowed to obtain or build nuclear weapons.

We believe that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization that has killed hundreds of Americans and which waged war against Israel in violation of every law of war this past summer, and will do so again in the future.

We believe Israel is our ally and friend and deserves the full assistance of the United States in its battle with radical Islamists. We believe that Israel has repeatedly shown its willingness to negotiate a just and lasting peace, but that its enemies do not want peace, but the destruction of Israel.

We believe that the American military is the finest in the world and indeed in history, well led and superbly trained, and populated at every level by America’s best and brightest.

We support the troops, and those organizations which assist the wounded in their recoveries and support the families of those who sacrificed everything.

We support leaders who support victory.

“I was ordered to fight all men until they say, ‘There is no god but Allah.’ ” With these farewell words, the prophet Muhammad summed up the international vision of the faith he brought to the world. As a universal religion, Islam envisages a global political order in which all humankind will live under Muslim rule as either believers or subject communities. In order to achieve this goal, it is incumbent on all free, male, adult Muslims to carry out an uncompromising “struggle in the path of Allah,” or jihad. As the 14th-century historian and philosopher Abdel Rahman ibn Khaldun wrote, “In the Muslim community, the jihad is a religious duty because of the universalism of the Islamic mission and the obligation [to convert] everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force.”

It was not coincidence that Osama bin Laden echoed these words in his glee after September 11: “I was ordered to fight the people until they say there is no god but Allah and his prophet is Muhammad.”

Bernard Lewis, a leading scholar of Islamist rage, places the fault line at the failure of the Muslim world to keep up with the West in the modern world. Diminishing Muslim power is both a humiliation and in Muslim minds a reversal of divine law, driving the losers to pick through the verses of the Koran to find justification for violence against winners. For many centuries Islam was the greatest civilization on Earth — the richest, the most powerful, the most creative in every significant field of human endeavor. Its armies, its teachers and its traders were advancing on every front in Asia, in Africa, in Europe, bringing, as they saw it, civilization and religion to the infidel barbarians who lived beyond the Muslim frontier. And then everything changed, and Muslims, instead of invading and dominating Christendom, were invaded and dominated by Christian powers. The resulting frustration and anger at what seemed to them a reversal of both natural and divine law have been growing for centuries, and have reached a climax in our own time.

Other scholars blame Western colonialism and imperialism, along with Judeo-Christian traditions, as contributing to the violent mentality of the extremists.

But there’s another, more correct, view. “The Middle East’s experience is the culmination of long-existing indigenous trends, passions, and patterns of behavior, first and foremost the region’s millenarian imperial tradition,” writes Efraim Karsh. “External influences, however potent, have played only a secondary role, constituting neither the primary force behind the Middle East’s political development nor the main cause of its notorious volatility.”

As a historical matter, the birth of Islam was inextricably linked with empire. Unlike Christianity and the Christian kingdoms that once existed under or alongside it, Islam has never distinguished between temporal and religious powers, which were combined in the person of Muhammad. Having fled from his hometown of Mecca to Medina in 622 c.e. to become a political and military leader rather than a private preacher, Muhammad spent the last ten years of his life fighting to unify Arabia under his rule. Indeed, he devised the concept of jihad shortly after his migration to Medina as a means of enticing his local followers to raid Meccan caravans. Had it not been for his sudden death, he probably would have expanded his reign well beyond the peninsula.

Islamic history has been anything but reactive. From Muhammad to the Ottomans, the story of Islam has been the story of the rise and fall of an often astonishing imperial aggressiveness and, no less important, of never quiescent imperial dreams. Even as these dreams have repeatedly frustrated any possibility for the peaceful social and political development of the Arab-Muslim world, they have given rise to no less repeated fantasies of revenge and restoration and to murderous efforts to transform fantasy into fact. If, today, America is reviled in the Muslim world, it is not because of its specific policies but because, as the preeminent world power, it blocks the final realization of this same age-old dream of regaining, in Zawahiri’s words, the “lost glory” of the caliphate. Islam is not a religion of peace and co-existance, and never has been. Islam has always been a cult of death bent on world domination.

Muhammad proselytized with violence and used violence to consolidate conquest. Occupying territory was as important as converting or killing unbelievers. When the Jews of Medina resisted Muhammad in the 7th century, he beheaded the men and sold their women and children into slavery – actions completely opposite of another Middle East prophet – Jesus. Muhammad, who claimed to derive his power and authority from Allah, was not only head of the captured states but was the single religious authority. “This allowed the prophet to cloak political ambitions with a religious aura,” writes Mr. Karsh, “and to channel Islam’s energies into its instrument of aggressive expansion.” The ultimate goal would be for the world either to embrace Islam or live under its domination – a goal still envisioned today.

And this vision is not confined to a tiny extremist fringe. This we saw in the overwhelming support for the 9/11 attacks throughout the Arab and Islamic worlds, in the admiring evocations of bin Laden’s murderous acts during the crisis over the Danish cartoons, and in such recent findings as the poll indicating significant reservoirs of sympathy among Muslims in Britain for the “feelings and motives” of the suicide bombers who attacked London last July. In the historical imagination of many Muslims and Arabs, bin Laden represents nothing short of the new incarnation of Saladin, defeater of the Crusaders and conqueror of Jerusalem. In this sense, the House of Islam’s war for world mastery is a traditional, indeed venerable, quest that is far from over.

What the people who blew up little schoolgirls and shot nuns in the back fear is not that the US is going to permanently occupy Iraq. They fear that we’re going to permanently change Iraq and the hearts and minds of its citizens – the Islamists’ cannon fodder.

Some analysts now see a new “axis of Islam” arising in the Middle East, uniting Hizballah, Hamas, Iran, Syria, the Muslim Brotherhood, elements of Iraq’s Shiites, and others in an anti-American, anti-Israel alliance backed by Russia.

As one of the Islamic fanatics who inspired al-Qa’eda said: “We are not trying to negotiate with you. We are trying to destroy you.” The Islamic terrorists who destroyed the World Trade Center, those who bombed Bali, and whoever it was in Spain who demonstrated a comparable appetite for indiscriminate killing, do not have specific political goals. They wish to destroy the whole basis of Western society – secular democracy, individual liberty, equality before the law, toleration, and pluralism – and replace it with a theocracy based on a perverted and dogmatic interpretation of the Koran. That is why the suggestion that we should try to negotiate with such terrorists is so fatuous: there is nothing whatever to negotiate about.

the attack on the World Trade Center in New York in February 1993, with six killed and more than a thousand injured the attack on the American liaison mission in Riyadh in November 1995, with seven Americans killed the attack on the military living quarters in Khobar in Saudi Arabia in June 1996, with 19 American soldiers killed and many more wounded the embassies in East Africa in 1998 the attack on the USS Cole in Yemen in October 2000, with 17 sailors killed

All the above brought only angry but empty words and, at most, a few misdirected missiles. The conclusion bin Laden and others drew was that the United States had become feeble and frightened and incapable of responding. The crimes of Sept. 11 were the result of this perception and were intended to be the opening salvo of a large-scale campaign to force Americans and their allies out of Arabia and the rest of the Muslim world, to overthrow the corrupt tyrants America supports, and to prepare the ground for the final world struggle. You choose whether you will roll over and play dead, or defend your freedom and liberty against tyrany.

The fuel of Islamic imperialism remains as volatile as ever, and is very far from having burned itself out. To deny its force is the height of ignorance and blindness, and to imagine that it can be appeased or deflected is to play into its hands (Europe, are you listening?). Only when it is defeated, and when the faith of Islam is no longer a tool of Islamic political ambition, will the inhabitants of Muslim lands, and the rest of the world, be able to look forward to a future less burdened by Saladins and their gory dreams.

Today I’m focusing on Islamists.

Anyone remember these from five years ago? It’s almost impossible to find them “live” online anymore after being purged by Islam’s apologists.

The US did not deserve 9/11. Says New York Governor George Pataki:

The date Sept. 11 will forever evoke in the hearts and minds of all Americans’ recollections of unimaginable tragedy, of lives callously and brutally cut short, of unspeakable horror and sorrow. And that is as it should be – we must never forget the depths of inhumanity to which terrorist fanatics are willing to sink in the name of their depraved cause, and we must never lose sight of why we were attacked.

It had nothing to do, as some would have us believe, with what America had done wrong. It had everything to do with what America does right; living by and insisting on the principles of freedom and democracy on which this great nation was founded, guaranteeing every citizen freedom of religion, freedom to assemble, freedom of speech, and freedom of the press.

To religious fanatics bent on killing those who worship differently, to fundamentalist zealots committed so fervently to hatred, oppression and tyranny, our freedom represents the ultimate threat. That is why we were attacked, and that is why each Sept. 11, we Americans should, even as we remember the devastation and heartbreak, take pause to appreciate and recommit ourselves to the freedom that is at the heart of our American nation.

This is also a great time to listen to the words of Dr. Rusty Shackleford:

9/11 was not a tragedy. A tragedy happens by mistake or because of natural forces. A tsunamai is a tragedy. A car accident is a tragedy.

9/11 was an attrocity. Attrocicities are committed. An attrocity is the result of planned action.

Islamic extremists murdered American citizens on a mass scale on 9/11. It was premeditated action.

Bush and Clinton did not murder almsot 3,000 people on September 11, 2001. Muslim terrorists did.

Whatever the pre-9/11 failings were, these were not the result of Clinton or Bush. They were the result of a mindset. That mindset was of treating terrorism as a law enforcement problem and not part of a war.

The terrorists declared war on us, and we, in return, wanted to serve the terrorists a subpoena.

Yet look at the pictures below, the faces of those that celebrated the massacre of 9/11. Look and see Evil. This is Islamofascism.
