- The Department of Agriculture paid $1,191,200 to CLOUGHERTY PACKING, LLC of Los Angeles for “2 POUND FROZEN HAM SLICED”
- The Department of Veterans Affairs paid $351,807 to VETERANS CONTRACTING GROUP, INC. of New York for “REPLACE AND UPGRADE THE DUMBWAITER”
- The Department of Agriculture paid $1,562,568 to MICELI DAIRY PRODUCTS COMPANY of Cleveland, OH, for “MOZZARELLA CHEESE”
- The Department of Agriculture paid $5,708,260 to BONGARDS’ CREAMERIES of Norwood, MN, for “PROCESS CHEESE”
- The Department of Agriculture paid $16,784,272 to LAKESIDE FOODS INC of Manitowoc, WI, for “CANNED PORK”
- DYESS AFB in Texas paid $1,444,100 to AFCO TECHNOLOGIES, INC of San Antonia, TX, for “REPAIR DOOR BLDG 5112″
WTF? $16,784,272 for a can of SPAM?
Folks, you do realize, don’t you, that each and every dollar listed above came out of some taxpayer‘s wallet or purse?
