- Is it legal to carry at any place that serves alcohol other than a restaurant? YES in California, NO in Georgia.
- Is it legal to carry at a place of worship? YES in California, NO in Georgia.
- Is it legal to carry at a sporting event? YES in California, NO in Georgia.
- Is it legal to carry at undefined “public gatherings”? YES in California, NO in Georgia.
Georgia will let you get your Georgia Firearms License, but will tightly control if and where you can carry your firearm, in some ways making the Georgia Firearms License practically meaningless. The above comparison SHOULD be absolutely embarrassing to the Georgia politicians.
Just one more reason to move to the Idaho hills and watch Georgia implode from a safe distance.
