That is a sweet rig, neighbor. We need to plan a east Atlanta get together soon. All these liberals are giving me a headache. I need to make some new like minded friends. Have a great day!

Alas, Brother David, ’tis not my rig. This post was the first of a series of posts (2 per month) on the topic of “Why carry a gun?”
Since I adore the 1911, all of these posts will end with a picture of a 1911 in a holster of some sort that I’ve discovered on my internet journeys.
For OC I use a Blackhawk CQC SERPA because of their über-cool “Auto-Lock” active retention system. For small-of-the-back CC I use a CrossBreed SuperTuck and am still able to tuck in my shirt.
BUT … if you’re wondering what to buy me for Christmas then take a gander at a Galco Side Snap Scabbard Belt Holster, 5″ 1911, Right Hand, Black Leather. Runs $80 at CheaperThanDirt.com.
