Is Obama Wright?

Wow, what a kerfluffle.

First we learned that Rev. Jeremiah Wright was Barack Obama’s spiritual advisor, and Obama’s book “Audacity of Hope” was inspired from one of Wright’s sermons. They’re close enough that Wright performed Obama’s wedding, and baptized his children.

Then we discover that Rev. Wright is a hate-filled bigot. He claims that the U.S. government invented the HIV virus as a means of genocide against blacks. He says that the attacks of 9/11 were a justified response to US foreign policy going back to WWII.

Next from Obama is that Rev. Wright is a good man, a man of God. Obama claims that he wasn’t in attendance when Rev. Wright made some of his more fiery sermons. Obama portrayed such statements as isolated soundbites, taken out of context by political enemies to create a negative impression of an otherwise caring pastor.

Now we hear from Obama that he angrily denounces his former pastor for divisive and destructive remarks. He claims that he is outraged by the comments that were made by Rev. Wright. Now Obama stated flatly that he doesn’t share the views of the man who officiated at his wedding, baptized his two daughters, and been his pastor for 20 years.

Shiznit.

Is it really plausible for Obama to say that he did not hear a steady stream of such stuff coming from Wright’s pulpit in the last 20 years? The fact that Obama is such a long-time member of Wright’s church makes it reasonable to suspect that Obama found a lot to agree with in what Wright preached.

Obama today would have us believe that he’s been under Rev. Wright’s counsel for 20 years and yet there is no way Obama know what Rev. Wright stood for and believed? Obama was married by Rev. Wright, and he had his children baptized by Rev. Wright, yet he had no knowledge of Rev. Wright’s racial anger? Rev. Wright was Obama’s spiritual mentor, and he named his book after one of Rev. Wright’s sermons, yet poor Obama did not know that the Reverend believed that the US government invented AIDS for the purpose of genocide of the black race?

Anyone with an IQ above room temperature can see that Wright’s performances are finely honed, time-tested acts. His anti-white, anti-American, “imperialist”-bashing shtick was not developed overnight or over the past few years. He’s been peddling AIDS conspiracies for decades. He’s been grievance-mongering about slavery for decades. He’s been flirting with the Nation of Islam, which provided security for his speeches, for decades. He’s been a shouting left-wing radical for decades.

And Obama has simply shown that he is a slick politician … or what we down South call a “liar”. Obama just expertly pulled off a Judas moment.

While Obama needed the “black vote” in Chicago, all the flaming rhetoric came from Obama’s close spiritual advisor and friend. Now that Obama needs the “white vote” Obama claims the Reverend is someone he doesn’t recognize. Obama threw Wright under the bus when he was no longer needed. Obama simply pulled a maneuver that one would expect coming from the Clintons.

I think the race just changed leaders. The “black vote” -and- the “white vote” will distance themselves from the two-faced Obama, allowing Queen Hillary to regain her throne, and Obama will blame it all on race. And it certainly is a race issue – a racist issue coming from Obama, not being thrown at him.

I do not think I am alone in feeling Sen. Obama could have said, when this first appeared, “I disagree with some of his views, but my respect for him and his achievements allows me to continue to hear his arguments.”

Instead, we heard “I never heard him say any of that,” followed by “I never paid attention,” through “I do not think his views unusual,” to “I only knew this man twenty years ago for a little while, the last nineteen-plus years were just a dream.”

Over the pass few days both Wright and Obama have shown their true demeanor, Wright being opportunistic and the Obama being politically expedient. While both are utter liars. It also boggles the mind how anybody, who was in their right mind, could follow or vote for either.
