From The Charlotte Observer:
Most Americans, [Michelle Obama] said, don’t want much.
“They don’t want the whole pie,” she told the women. “There are some who do, but most Americans feel blessed just being able to thrive a little bit. But that is becoming even more out of reach.”
“The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.”
What is wrong with wanting more than you currently have? And where is this contentment from “just being able to thrive a little bit”? And then, the money quote, is “someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more”.
?!?
Those that achieve and succeed will have to give up some of what they’ve earned so that someone else can have more? We should be content with just having a little bit?
Folks, it doesn’t get any plainer that that. Michelle Obama is a Socialist … and remember that the only difference between Socialism and Communism is that under Socialism the government hasn’t acquired all the guns just yet.
A Socialist says, “someone will have to give up a piece of their pie.” A Capitalist says, “Why don’t you get out of our way so that we can make a larger pie?”

Dead on right. What is mine is mine and not the governments or any body else for that matter.
