Some other gun bloggers have been talking about their favorite fictional firearms so I thought I’d join in the antics.
I can’t believe no one has mentioned the EM gun, or railgun, in the movie Eraser. A slug of aluminum accelerated to Mach 10 is quite enough to perform any job required of it.
The Noisy Cricket, Type 2 phaser, Law Giver, M41-A pulse rifle, and MGC M93R-AP are all fine weapons, but I’ll take my chances with the railgun, although I don’t know if it comes in either .45 ACP or .40 S&W.
