As a feminist working to end the world’s insanity of violence, assault, and abuse towards all women, I am disgusted and extremely angered by your so-called “humorous” list. This is just another example of how men such as yourself continue to treat women–with complete disrespect and disregard for their wellbeing.
If anything or anyone needs a silencer, it is you.

Woah a minute Ms. Hyphenated. I am, if nothing else, an equal opportunity provider. I invite and encourage you to return here November 5th to see the Flip Side of this post, “The Top Ten Reasons Guns Are Better Than Men”, and please feel free to be equally disgusted and extremely angered lest you be shown to be a hypocrite.
Also -IF- you had bothered to read more of this site you would have noticed that I’m a huge proponent of stopping violence against both men and women, not just one gender. I believe that violence, assault, and abuse towards anyone has become almost “acceptable” in the US and it is about time people started taking responsibility for their own safety through buying a dog, taking martial arts classes, and arming themselves with a concealed handgun.
As to the disrespect and disregard for women’s wellbeing, I have encouraged my wife to get her concealed firearms license, go to the range and practice, and carry a firearm of her own for protection. Step 1 is already completed and she is working on the other two. Her respect and wellbeing is my utmost priority. But since I cannot be by her side 24/7 she must have the ability to protect herself.
Maybe you need to be a bit less thin-skinned and reactionary.
By the way, isn’t a “feminist” a self-worshipping group of females who claim that they want equal rights but later on change their minds when they realize that it means that they will no longer be catered to and be given special consideration just because of their gender?
