Vampires are mythological or folkloric beings that are renowned for subsisting on human blood or lifeforce, but in some cases may prey on animals. Although vampires have different characteristics depending on which lore one reads, in most cases, they are described as reanimated corpses who feed by draining and consuming the blood of living beings.
In horror fiction, vampires have been A-list baddies ever since Bram Stoker cooked up Dracula. So it would seem that having a vampire chew down on a body part in order to drain out all your blood would be a bad thing.
So what is it about vampire women, those crimson nymphs, with their entrancing eyes and hungry smiles? A world where dark vampires lurk in the shadows, searching for the one who will sate their hunger, a hunger that none can resist. Could anyone not fall under the spell of Selene in the Underworld movies?
