I can assure you that gun-control will only disarm those that abide by the laws and respect the legal system. Why would a criminal, that lacks respect for the law, decide to turn in a firearm because gun-control is enacted. Gun-control will simply enhance the criminals ability to use firearms for violence as the only means to stop him/ her would be law enforcement. I promise you, we, as law enforcement officers, do not have the manpower, time and resources to prevent the majority of firearms related assaults.
