Two adolescent boys are accused of wielding a concealed weapon — a squirt gun wrapped in black electrical tape — to steal cash from a discount store.
The purple plastic toy was recovered from the downtown Dollar General store by officers who caught the suspects, ages 11 and 14, within minutes of the holdup, police said Tuesday.
No one was injured in the holdup Monday afternoon.

There’s simply no need for anyone other than licensed and registered electricians to be allowed to possess electrical “assault” tape, when common gray duct tape is so readily available.
I didn’t see anything in the news article to determine whether they used high capacity electrical tape or not, or whether the water gun had a pre-ban folding stock or not. The tape was probably a cheap East European copy that you can get with no waiting period at those unregulated Electrical Shows.
