Your Lack Of Faith Is Disturbing

Hat tip to the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler:

From the UK Telegraph:

Scientists who questioned mankind’s impact on climate change have received death threats and claim to have been shunned by the scientific community.

They say the debate on global warming has been “hijacked” by a powerful alliance of politicians, scientists and environmentalists who have stifled all questioning about the true environmental impact of carbon dioxide emissions.

Timothy Ball, a former climatology professor at the University of Winnipeg in Canada, has received five deaths threats by email since raising concerns about the degree to which man was affecting climate change.

One of the emails warned that, if he continued to speak out, he would not live to see further global warming.

OK, academic disagreement is one thing, but deaths threats is a bit over the top, don’t you think?

Follow the money. Claiming that the earth is about to explode from global warming has created a huge global warming scare industry, a business wallowing in billions of dollars worldwide.

Heard at an environmental rally in London recently:

“British based corporations are some of the worst climate criminals on the planet. Shell is based in the UK, right here in London we have the right and the duty to take it back into public ownership, dismantle it, break it up, and send its managers to rehabilitation training.”

“We have the right”?
“We have the duty”?
“Take it back into public ownership?”
“Send its managers to rehabilitation training”?
Are we trying to save the planet, or is this merely a thinly-veiled attempt at Socialism?

These eco-socialists Gaians believe that capitalism is inherently harmful to society and the environment due to waste, pollution, and overconsumption. Eco-socialists are often described as Red Greens – adherents to Green politics with clear anti-capitalist views, often inspired by Marxism.

The radical environmental movement is about political change, not saving the environment. The global warming hysteria is nothing more than a Communistic and Socialistic political agenda disguised as an environmental movement so that the uninformed citizens won’t realize what’s happening to them. It’s about politics, not science. The goal of the global warming movement is revolution from the top down. Listen to them and you’ll primarily hear them preaching about affecting social change, not genuine science.

What the High Holy Goracle is preaching is nothing more than the blatant fabrication of misinformation disguised as scientific fact designed to emotionally pull people into embracing his hidden ideology. Yes, it’s that important – and that dangerous.

Doesn’t anyone remember back to 2002 when activist Keith Lockitch claimed that species are vanishing at the rate of 40,000 per year? It turned out to be complete rubbish, invented by acclaimed environmentalist Norman Myers in his 1979 book “The Sinking Ark”. These eco-socialists have no compunction about inventing the imaginary threats from which it supposedly needs to be saved.

“Earth Day” has evolved to pressure school children and ignorant adults to adopt the Greens’ political views, not genuinely saving the planet from imminent destruction. These people use environmentalism as the emotional hook to draw people into the support of actions that advance the Socialistic and Communistic agenda. It should be no surprise that in 1998 the Socialist and Green political parties in Oregon merged – they have the same goals.

But back to the article:

“Western governments have pumped billions of dollars into careers and institutes and they feel threatened,” said the professor [Timothy Ball].

Richard Lindzen, the professor of Atmospheric Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology – who also appeared on the documentary – recently claimed: “Scientists who dissent from the alarmism have seen their funds disappear, their work derided, and themselves labelled as industry stooges.

Dr Myles Allen, from Oxford University, agreed. He said: “The Green movement has hijacked the issue of climate change. It is ludicrous to suggest the only way to deal with the problem is to start micro managing everyone, which is what environmentalists seem to want to do.”

Nigel Calder, a former editor of New Scientist, said: “Governments are trying to achieve unanimity by stifling any scientist who disagrees. Einstein could not have got funding under the present system.”

Some More Thoughts on the Humans-Cause-Climate-Cha

are presented in this good read from Common Folk Using Common Sense.

From the passages presented, you can clearly see the Socialistic/Fascistic desires of the “faithful”. From this post:
