The number of rapes in the Norwegian capital Oslo is six times as high as in New York City.

There has been an explosive increase in the number of rape charges in the city of Oslo, but both the media and the authorities consistently refuse to tell us why.

Two out of three charged with rape in Norway’s capital are immigrants with a non-western background according to a police study. The number of rape cases is also rising steadily. Unni Wikan, a professor of social anthropology at the University of Oslo, in 2001 said that “Norwegian women must take their share of responsibility for these rapes” because Muslim men found their manner of dress provocative. The professor’s conclusion was not that Muslim men living in the West needed to adjust to Western norms, but the exact opposite: “Norwegian women must realize that we live in a Multicultural society and adapt themselves to it.”

Of the 111 charged with rape in Oslo last year, 72 were of non-western ethnic origin, 25 are classified as Norwegian or western and 14 are listed as unknown.

Rape charges in the capital are spiraling upwards, 40% higher from 1999 to 2000 and up 13 percent so far this year.

While 65% of those charged with rape are classed as coming from a non-western background, this segment makes up only 14.3% of Oslo’s population. Norwegian women were the victims in 80% of the cases, with 20% being women of foreign background.

The fact that everyone is dancing around, scared to admit publicly, is that there is a surge is Muslim immigration into Norway, and with that is coming a vastly disproportionate rise in reported rapes. Once quiet Oslo is now watching their women brutalized by these Muslim men, and yet no one has the courage to say anything about it.

And to top it off, here we have that idiot Unni Wikan (a woman) saying that it is the women’s fault because of the way they dress. After all, they should realize that these Muslim men immigrants simply cannot handle all the temptation that is being thrust on them by the scantily-clad native Norwegian women, and therefore the men are not responsible for their actions; the women are bringing it upon themselves.

I wonder if the ACLU would allow this to be considered a Hate Crime if it were happening in the US? Or does Multiculturalism trump Hate?
