Yep, this humble blog (as far as I know) is still being “banned” by the government of India. I say “banned” because I still get traffic from India almost as if there were no ban in place. Either their government’s technology people are really dumb, or Indian bloggers are really smart.
Personally I think there was never an actual ban. The Indian government made speeches and sent memos describing a ban against me and 16 others because we are critical of Islamofascism - they were hoping that this would keep the Islamofascists in their country from blowing up any more trains. But in practice nothing changed and people in India were free to browse and surf as they always had, keeping those in India searching for outside opinion happy.
I had forgotten about this silly ban until I saw CNN’s website yesterday. The new spokesperson for the Band Of The Banned, Jessica Alba, and I had, earlier this summer, sat down for some interviews on the subject and CNN finally decided to publish them.
As for “other” rumors concerning Ms. Alba and your humble host: “no comment”.

Hey! Congrats on being banned! It’s the mark of a true revolutionary for some. I haven’t been keeping up because of BCT, but hopefully I’ll be able to visit more often now that I’m in OCS (i.e. more freedoms).

Dude, I am going to send you an email a bit later today, as well as to the other banned folks, regarding some info I found while playing with alternate IP’s.
We are blocked using a 500 server error on some IP’s.
