She was given a run in politics based on a family legacy and a constituency that looked past her ineptitude hoping that she would become the person who pushed their agenda. What they found themselves with was a caricature of a small-minded, race-baiting, spotlight-seeking woman whose idea of good politics was to blame a police officer for doing his job. Interestingly the media that she blamed for her loss (it couldn’t have been the fact that people didn’t vote for her) isn’t covering the racial hatred spewed forth by her entourage after her press conference. I can only wonder what would happen if a white politician lost and members of that campaign loudly blamed blacks and Jews in front of cameras.
