Colorado House Majority Leader Alice Madden prepared to introduce a resolution honoring the 90th anniversary of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains and their “wonderful” work. Recording artist Gianna Jessen, suffering from cerebral palsy, leads a rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” before the House is called to order. Afterwards Ms. Madden walked over to Gianna and congratulated her. Then the gavel came down. You owe it to yourself to read the rest of the story.
