Trackbacked at the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler, basil’s blog, Michelle Malkin, Dr. Sanity:
The Kos Kool-aid Drinkers Brigade, currently 0-20 in elections, are busy voicing their dissatisfaction over the fact that one of the most brutal murders in the world is now dead.
I won’t link to their site, but here’s what they’re saying:
- Bush’s idea of justice is bombs falling out of the sky?
- That phrase, “delivered justice,” sent a shiver up my spine. What was delivered was retribution, not justice. This is plenty biblical, but not “just.”
- just in time to hide the fact they’re trying to cut the estate tax for the uber wealthy and plunge us into a trillion dollar more of debt.
- How do you know: “he was guilty of masterminding suicide bombings and beheadings of innocent civilians”? Did you hear this on the MSM? Or are you privy to information the rest of us don’t have access to?
- And I don’t believe the official version of this story for a minute. Zarqawi was just your run of the mill, small town thug,
- Ok, so now we got the #2 man… again. At this point, #3 becomes the new #2 and here we have another hunt… with 500lbs bombs, damn the “collateral damage”.
- This method violates everything my America stands for. It violates the rule of law and invokes the rule of force in what should be a criminal, not a military, matter. To give Al-Queda status by declaring that this is a war, rather than arrest and prosecution for crimes committed, the Bush Administration has given Al-Queda much more status than they deserve.
- So a bad man is dead. Big deal. To the extent that this allows some really bad people in our country to gain a propaganda victory, this is not a good thing. The US military has killed more innocent people in Iraq than this guy could have dreamed of killing, and very bad people in our country will use this event as a reason to allow that killing to continue. Forget al-Qaeda, which probably doesn’t even exist as a functioning organization. Remember Haditha.
- Zarqawi is not dead because he was never alive. Purely a PsyOp boogeyman.
- This is what we can expect from Bush Inc. and the Texas Death Machine: unilateral death with no possibility of appeal. Al-Zarqawi should have been placed under arrest and tried in a court of law, preferably the The International Court of Justice at the Hague. He should have been turned over to the U.N. as soon as possible.
- Zarqawi’s “death” is just fodder for the IDIOTS at FreeRepublic and within the media to lend some kind of justification for BushCo’s MURDEROUS war. There’s not a shred of evidence that Zarqawi was alive and carrying out terrorist attacks in Iraq, nor is there anyway to confirm his “death”.
- How did all those pajama clad keyboard kommando’s from the 82nd Chairborne pull of such a miraculous air raid from their desktops? By reading the Right wing blahgosphere this morning I was convinced some Yellow elephant blasted Zarqawi with his Logitch Wingman Extreme from his desktop in Boise.
- Whatever happened to arrests, trials, lawyers and judges? Oh yeah, this is Bush 2006, not 21st Century America.

[...] I have no words for the utter nonsense I’ve been reading on the internets today about Zarqawi from places like Kos, the DUh, the Huffington Post, all of ‘em. This morning I hoped Michael Berg (video here) would just be the odd nutball, like Motherf*cker Sheehan, but noooooo. People who I (stupidly) had hoped might actually “get” the fact that Zarqawi’s death IS A GOOD THING, sorely disappointed me. I’m not even talking about those above, I’m talking about elected leaders, and some who consider themselves “moderate” Democrats–including some of the few liberals on my blogroll. Y’know, that says a hell of a lot about the (il)liberal mindset. You just CAN’T see the good in anything, can you? It’s never enough. It’s always, “yeah, but…” no matter what the news says. “Great, but dammit, Bush will get a bump in the polls.” What the fuck is wrong with people who think like this? Those people who act this way just proved that they really have NO ideology except that of “hate Bush” and “America the oppressor.” And why? Because their guy LOST. Their guy, who represents nothing but “hate the right” and the goddamned UN mentality. And then they have the chutzpah to whiiiiiine about how some of us DARE to question their patriotism–well, tough. “Patriotism” isn’t saying “I love my country so much I want to fix it.” That’s called “I love the country that could be,” not what we have. That’s called idealism. Or more to the point, fantasy. As I see it, stupidity, ignorance, and a goddamn mental disorder. If you ask me, Ann Coulter is too gentle in her treatment of these fuckups, because after this latest display of left-wing insanity, I’d say a lot worse. So now you have these would-be mental patients saying “I question the timing,” and that Zarqawi was just some freedom fighter, or a nobody. We’ve got these idiots saying “but what about all the people Booooosh killed!?!!” Oh yeah? What about all the people George Washington killed? Abraham Lincoln? Teddy Roosevelt? Woodrow Wilson? FDR? LBJ, Nixon, Bush ‘41, Clinton, etc. etc…? Beam me up Scotty, I can’t deal with this mass insanity, or the idiotic, evil, cynical, self-centered, fantasy-based LIES that these people push. It’s an ideology based on psychosis. Fuck them. As far as I’m concerned, the only difference between people who think like this and the terrorists like Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is that these leftard jackasses haven’t chopped off any heads (I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt). Like terrorists, the ends justify the means, and the inconvenient truth never gets in their way. And also like terrorists, their outrageous rhetoric of lies makes them even less of a legitimate existence in America. Bush won’t say it (and may not believe it), but I will: the left IS unpatriotic, America-hating, mentally ill, and sympathetic if not supportive of the enemy–they ARE the enemy of America. They’d like nothing better than to see America be “cut down to size,” so we’d be equals with Eurabia (which they doubtless consider a step up, for us) or better yet, the third world–because we deserve it. Well, I say: Speak for yourselves. If America is so wrong, and Americans are such arrogant oppressors, start a movement. All of you losers can live like people in the third world (preferably IN the third world) so you can ease your guilt at being American. Why not? Who the hell do you think started Liberia? AMERICANS. Go on, get to it, Chicken-Liberians! Start your own shitty country! So while the Chicken-liberians mope about the fact that Zarqawi’s death IS a victorious, joyous event for not just America, but even more for the Iraqi people, I’ll be enjoying it. To hell with the angry leftard chicken-liberians and the angry Islamists. Allah’s enjoying it too. (YouTube link here.) I’m not linking to any more of the unhinged crap. You can find the links through at Michelle Malkin’s–or in a complete nutcase moonbat roundup, at Dr. Sanity’s–just follow the links. I can’t look at any more of it myself; it makes me ill. [...]
