In both cases, no ransom was requested (as far as it known at the moment), they were taken by a "previously unknown group" and no kidnappers were captured. It is clear, however that they were kidnapped and Tom Fox was murdered. A full investigation into the kidnappings and murder should be conducted so that we can all know what exactly happened.
