I'm as outraged as the rest of you and think anyone who wants a contract like this with with a non-consenting adult should have horribly painful things done to his/her body before dying a lingering, excruciating death. That said... I've seen speculation that the husband was actually a church-going man who disapproved of his wife's "cult religion" and that she (a) downloaded/printed the contract from a BDSM website and (b) downloaded the child porn so she could punish him. I don't think I really believe any of the wife-framing-husband stuff, but I also think we need to keep in mind that we don't know the whole story. Innocent until proven guilty? Various news reports have noted that Council Bluffs law enforcement authorities have added 12 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after officers found illegal pictures on his computer while investigating the kidnapping complaint. Frey has pleaded not guilty to the kidnapping charge. Now out on bond, he faces trial March 14. It should be noted that kidnapping is a class A Felony in the State of Iowa, and carries a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
